Description
Set of 6 Charles II oak backstools with bobbin legs and twist turned front stretcher rails. The back rest panels are much earlier in date than the chairs and possibly inserted in the 17th century or early 18th century to make them more interesting, and then solid seats added at the same time. These chairs were once upholstered.
Great looking but not for the purists.
