More information

Tudor carved oak cupboard, the front with four doors heavily carved with tracery, vine and leaf, rose panel and the five wounds of christ, all deeply carved of the best quality. Two drawers with pomegranate and crowns entwined on a vine and leaf, and above and below the drawers two ornate tracey panels at the top and two leafy panels one with a bird below. The right side with two large single linenfold panels and the left side with two lower linenfold panels and a single horizontal panel above. In an ancient old condition as most items of this caliber and age are often found. It is very rare indeed to find a perfect condition piece of furniture pre 1600.
