Description

17th century joined oak pair of benches probably from a college, of robust form with huge turned legs and thick seat boards.

Similar examples can be seen in Jesus College, Cambridge in the main hall.

Feet all raised up 1″, over good original condition.

Pairs of benches from this period are rare to find, a good collector piece.
