Description

Charles II joined oak enclosed armchair, the rare form turned legs joined by moulded lower stretcher rails and similar frieze rails, the upper section of seating area panelled to enclose the seat ” to prevent drafts” the three carved panels in the the back rest panel with interlaced designs and central rose roundels.
