Description

Elizabeth I joined oak armchair of superb quality, the arcaded back rest panel with a deep applied arcade panel with leafy designs, above the frieze rail carved with floral decoration and above the cresting rail with typical renaissance designed griffin heads carved within the S-scrolls. The arm rests with carved scrolled hand holds being supported by the column turned legs. The front seat rail carved with Lunettes. Superb condition and great colour.
