Description

Gothic pair of brass candlesticks. cast in one piece, the grease pans with castellated rims and pierced with holes, with the baluster turned stems rising above bell shaped bases with pierced holes.

Very fine and very rare collector’s piece.

Near identical but smaller pair in Sotheby’s Frit Phillips Collection 2006, lot 323.
