Description

Elizabeth I oak carved table, the four bold turned legs with very simple cup and cover designs joined by moulded lower stretcher rails. The upper rails carved with applied deep cut gadrooned decoration to the sides and back with the front carved with nulled and strap work designs.

It is possible this table is either a library or serving table being decorated on one side different to the others denoting the front, but intended to sit in a room for full visual viewing.
