Description

Elizabeth I oak carved Welsh table of rare form, The four chamfered legs with null carved columns joined by plain stretcher rails and simple null carved frieze rails. Three plank cleat top.

A much bigger and heavier table of similar form sold in Christie’s New York and once the property of William Randolph Hearst illustrated in the second picture.
