Description

Elizabeth I joined oak press cupboard of small proportions. Carved to the front with arcades with floral spandrels, the upper section of cupboard with ornate gadrooned cup and cover supports with a square and round chain motif on the frieze.

Quite possibly made in Exeter, circa 1590. Back boards to the lower section replaced in the 19th century.
