Description

Henry VII carved oak chest of small size of boarded construction, the front board carved with Gothic tracery retaining some remnants of original red polychrome within the carving. Front board repaired.

Provenance: Arthur Radford, Bradninch House, Devon.

Arthur Lock Radford, FSA, was a noted collector antiquary and authority on Devon church rood screens and early furniture.
