Description

William and Mary Padouk side table, the four turned legs joined by plain stretcher rails and cutout decorated frieze rails with single drawer.

Padouk: The Padouk family of trees is widespread throughout India, Burma, south-east Asia and parts of West Africa, first used in England around 1670. Adam Bowett, English Furniture 1660 – 1714.
