Description

Rarely do such early English tables of this form come on the market for sale. This table is a very early example of its type, with a thick single plank oak top above two trestles made from oak and pine. Two other similar examples can be seen in the Sotheby’s sales of Nyetimber Manor lot number 1006, and The Peter Gwynn Collection lot number 23.
