Henry VIII oak carved pierced frieze pieces depicting serpents with men's heads wearing typical Tudor hats and bodies of a female with scaled fish-like tails terminating with arrowheads. These were probably part of a room scheme and part of the frieze. Provenance: Clive Sherwood collection
