Description
Late Medieval oak boarded chest of plain construction and design. The only decoration being the moulded sides and ornate original hinges.
Two labels to one side with museum inventory listing and their date of Anno 1300. However the chest is more likely to be 1450 in date.
Provenance: Gem Museum, Roermond. The Netherlands.
Overall good condition.
