Description

Charles I joined oak gaming table. The small rare formed table with bulbous turned legs joined by plain lower stretcher rails and simple moulded frieze rails with a wide twin planked top.

Small tables for various popular games are frequently found amongst the contents of the richer houses throughout the post-medieval period: Victor Chinnery, Oak Furniture the British Tradition.
