Description

Elizabeth I joined oak table, the baluster turn legs carved with acanthus leaf and nulled decoration, joined by plain lower stretcher rails and carved nulled designed frieze rails with cutout decoration. Dry old surface throughout.

A table illustrated in English decoration and furniture by M Jourdain is clearly from the same workshop. Figure 320 page 281
