Description

Elizabeth I oak carved and inlaid oak cupboard, the front of framed construction attached to a boarded body. The front with four solid planked doors the lower section having two larger doors arranged as single arches with chain decoration and nulled columns with the main panel having a botanical image inlaid within the arch, the stiles carved with roses and S-scrolls, beside these stiles are an extra upright panel of inlay of interlaced designs. the upper section of similar form other than the doors set into deep carved frames applied to a solid planked door with inlaid floral designs. Lacking back boards.
