Description

Charles I joined oak stool, with a H stretcher and cutout decorated frieze rails. These stools are thought to have all come from the same workshop in the Taunton area of Somerset.

A near identical example from the same workshop is illustrated in Victor Chinnery’s, Oak Furniture, page 267, figure 3:98.
